DESCRIPTION:
(from Viaplay US's web site, February 2025) In the summer of 2010, 19-year-old Iwona Wieczorek disappeared on her way home from a party. She had just graduated from high school and was ready to spend the summer in Spain. The last footsteps of Iwona end just a few minutes from her home. Since then, the case has puzzled and intrigued the whole of Poland. Was it a kidnapping? Was it an escape? Or maybe a murder? Over the years, various clues have emerged. In this documentary, we take a look at the pieces in a completely new way. From the policeman who claims the perpetrator can be identified, to the online community and journalists who have formed their own theories – to the mother of Iwona, who is destined to find her daughter.
