DESCRIPTION: (from BBC America's press release, April 2011) The frontier sci-fi drama Outcasts (8 x 60), a co-production of Kudos Film & Television (Law & Order UK, Life on Mars), BBC AMERICA and BBC, stars Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty, The L Word), Liam Cunningham (Clash Of The Titans) and Hermione Norris (MI-5, Wire In The Blood). Created and written by Ben Richards and shot in South Africa, the series takes viewers into a new world as it explores survival, sex, politics and the drive for power in a new post-Earth era. The Executive Producers are Jane Featherstone, Simon Crawford-Collins and Faith Penhale for Kudos and Matthew Read for the BBC. Outcasts premieres Saturday, June 18, 9:00pm ET/PT.
