THE LEFTOVERS' third and final season debuted April 16 and the final episode debuted June 4. Created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, the Peabody Award-winning series garnered mass critical acclaim, with Indiewire, BuzzFeed and The Independent hailing the final season as a "masterpiece" and Deadline calling it "television greatness." The New York Times noted that "the performances are spectacular... especially Carrie Coon and Justin Theroux."
Discussing the final episode, the Hollywood Reporter stated that "the show's final shots were perfect," while Variety labeled it as "easily one of the greatest TV finales of all time."
