Netflix Unveils Trailer for Dutch Thriller 'iHostage'

Netflix unveils the trailer for iHostage, inspired by the hostage situation at the Apple Store in Amsterdam (2022). In the film, a man becomes unwittingly entangled in a life-threatening situation when an armed man takes a group of people hostage. Through various perspectives, a gripping drama unfolds about courage, survival, and the aftermath of terror. iHostage is directed by Bobby Boermans (The Golden Hour, Mocro Maffia), written by Simon de Waal (The Golden Hour, Sleepers), and produced by Horizon Film. The cast includes Admir Šehović, Soufiane Moussouli, Loes Haverkort, Marcel Hensema, Emmanuel Ohene Boafo, Fockeline Ouwerkerk, Matteo van der Grijn, and Thijs Boermans. iHostage will be available exclusively on Netflix starting April 18.

iHostage is a gripping thriller inspired by the shocking 2022 hostage crisis at Amsterdam's Apple Store. The film follows a Bulgarian man caught in a life-threatening ordeal as an armed assailant holds the building's occupants hostage.
