DEVELOPMENT HISTORY:

STATUS:
previously in development (2009-2010 season)
DEVELOPMENT STAGE:
unspecified
DESCRIPTION:
(from Sundance's press release, April 2009) What is the motivation and inspiration that compels artists filmmakers, musicians, designers, architects and comedians to challenge convention in the name of art? Shot in an intimate style, each episode will introduce a former extreme artist who has gone mainstream. Controversial, outspoken and daring, they had no idea they would become an icon from a generation. In addition to exploring their own work they will reveal a young artist they're discovered who has a talent and sense of "extreme" to which they can relate. This "mainstream" mentor and "extreme" artist will collaborate on a project. Produced by Beth B. Productions and City Lights.
