BLOODLINES (NBC) - David Graziano's drama - about "an orphaned young girl, Bird Benson, who, due to an accident of birth, is caught in the epic struggle between two warring families of mercenaries and killers" - has been ordered to pilot by the Peacock. Universal Television-based Film 44 is behind the hour with the company's Peter Berg - who's also attached to direct - and Sarah Aubrey executive producing alongside Graziano. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Burgess Jenkins and Joshua Henry will recur on the new season of "Army Wives" as Maggie's (Torrey DeVitto) and Latasha's (Ashanti) respective husbands (Deadline.com); Adam Shapiro will guest on "Scandal" in flashback as the boyfriend of Katie Lowes's character, who was killed by a bomb Lindsay was accused of mailing (TVLine.com); Sarah Shahi has booked an arc on "Person of Interest" as "a fearless, sexy and witty operative in a secret paramilitary organization that tracks and eliminates terrorists before they can act" (Deadline.com); Anthony Michael Hall is bound for "Awkward" as "a sadistic creative writing teacher that pushes the students out of their comfort zones" (EW.com); and Terry O'Quinn will return as the mysterious Joe White later this season on "Hawaii Five-0" (@CBSTweet).
