Pilot Update: March 24

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from various wire reports each morning:

COUPLING (NBC) - Sonya Walger has been added to the cast of the NBC's update of the BBC comedy.

EDDIE'S FATHER (WB) - Josh Hutcherson ("ER") and Zak Orth have landed roles in the Frog's update of "The Courtship of Eddie's Father." Hutcherson will the title character's son. The project comes from Warner Bros. TV and Pariah with Jay Kogen and Gavin Polone as the executive producers.

HOPE & FAITH (ABC) - Newcomer Macy Cruthird will play the daughter of Kelly Ripa's character in the comedy pilot, which revolves around a soap opera star who's forced to move in with her housewife sister. Harve Presnell ("Old School," "Mr. Deeds") has also joined the project as Jack.

JOAN OF ARCADIA (CBS) - Oscar winner Mary Steenburgen has been tapped to star in Barbara Hall's drama pilot for CBS for which Amber Tamblyn has been recruited for the title role.

THE POOL AT MADDY BREAKER'S (FOX) - Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, Jill Ritchie and Reagan Pasternak have been cast as the three leads in Fox's comedy pilot about three 28-year-olds who were popular in high school but went nowhere after that.

SKIN (FOX) - D.W. Moffett ("For Your Love") has joined the cast of the drama pilot from Warner Bros. TV and Jerry Bruckheimer Prods. as Skip Ziti. The series is described as a modern-day "Romeo and Juliet" set against the backdrop of the adult film industry. Jim Leonard, Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman serve as executive producers.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE WITH YOU (NBC) - Emmy winner Timothy Busfield is set to star opposite Annie Potts in the Peacock's comedy pilot.
