[07/23/03 - 12:00 AM] Showtime Stays in 'Family Business' By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)
CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- Showtime has renewed its late-night reality series "Family Business" for a second season of 10 episodes.
The half-hour series follows entrepreneur Adam Glasser, his mom Lila and his cousin Stevie as they run the "family business," which just so happens to be the production of adult videos. Arnold Shapiro and Allison Grodner ("Big Brother") produce the series, which is set to return in early 2004.
"Business" is the first of Showtime's new late-night block to get a second season pickup. Still to be determined are the fates of fellow night owls "Penn & Teller: Bullshit," "Jamie Foxx Presents Laffapalooza" and recent addition "Free for All."
