UPN Keeps 'Rock Me Baby' for Full Season

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- UPN is once again going to bat for its struggling series, as the network announced today it has ordered a full season of 22 episodes of its freshman comedy "Rock Me Baby." The pickup leaves "The Mullets" as the netlet's lone freshman series not to receive a full season order.
UPN executives were encouraged by the show's season high 1.2 rating and 4 share among men 18-34 this past Tuesday. Overall through eight first-run airings this season, "Baby" has averaged 2.7 million viewers and a 1.2/3 among adults 18-34. While neither scores are the markings of a breakthrough hit, "Baby" is up more than 17% over last year's Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c time slot holder "Haunted" (2.2 million) at this point last season.
Tony Krantz and Bob Myer are the executive producers of "Baby," a co-production of Flame Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television.
