Wonder Project to Premiere New Original Series "I Gotta Ask," Hosted by Bestselling Author and Podcast Host Annie F. Downs, on May 28

Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX (May 14, 2026) - Wonder Project, an entertainment company, independent studio, and subscription service, today announced a new original series, I Gotta Ask, hosted by bestselling author and podcast host Annie F. Downs, and released the official trailer for the six-episode unscripted series. The conversation-driven show will premiere with its first two episodes on Wonder Project's subscription service on Prime Video on May 28.

What does it actually look like to live by faith in the middle of real life? Annie F. Downs gets honest with the people asking the same questions as you are about dating and divine timing, money and ambition, grief and gratitude, fear and anxiety, struggle and recovery, and what it means to build something that matters. Each conversation brings together experts, entrepreneurs, and everyday friends for unfiltered, laugh-out-loud, and deeply moving discussions about the tension between trusting God and showing up for your own life. Because faith doesn't remove the hard. It meets you in it in the waiting, the setbacks, the rock bottoms, and the quiet everyday moments where God is still moving.

The first two episodes premiere on May 28, followed by two episodes each on June 4 and June 11.

"I have always loved time around the table, sitting with friends, asking honest questions, and seeing what unfolds," said Annie F. Downs. "I am so excited to bring these conversations to Wonder Project. My hope is that viewers feel like they are right there with us, joining us in this place where curiosity is welcome, faith is explored, and asking more questions is the norm, not the exception. No one has to have it all figured out, we just get to be together and share our stories."

"I Gotta Ask transforms conversation into connection and is exactly the kind of uplifting, authentic series we're excited to launch here at Wonder Project," said Tristen Tuckfield, Head of Content Acquisition at Wonder Project. "We've been huge fans of Annie F. Downs for a long time and are proud to bring her honest voice and perspective to our audience."

The series is executive produced by Alex Baskin (Vanderpump Rules, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Ianthe Jones (The Talk, Steve, Dr. Phil), Jeff Festa (The Valley) and Joe Kingsley (Vanderpump Rules, The Valley) for 32 Flavors; Annie F. Downs and Kelli Haywood; Tristen Tuckfield (Tiger King), Justin Rosenblatt (House of David, It's Not Like That) and Ashley Hanna (Is It Cake?) for Wonder Project; Dallas Jenkins (The Chosen) and Amanda Jenkins.

The Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video is available in the U.S. for $8.99/month or $89.99/year after a 7-day free trial. For additional details, visit https://www.amazon.com/subscription/wonderproject.

Downs sits down with dating coach Bela Gandhi, online dating expert Tera Stidum, and Annie's single friend Ashley for an unfiltered, laugh-out-loud honest conversation about love, relationships, and the pressure to "figure it out." From dating apps to divine timing, this episode dives into the tension no one talks about: How do you actively date while still trusting God? And what do you do when waiting starts to feel like rejection? Expect real talk and a fresh perspective on seeing God's humor, peace, and guidance in the middle of it all. Because maybe being single isn't a problem to solve - but a place where God is still moving.

Thursday, June 4
Episode 3: How Do We Remain Grateful While Grieving?
Guests: Tim Timmons and Hilary Beth Timmons
Logline: How do you hold joy and heartbreak at the same time? Annie F. Downs sits down with husband-and-wife duo Tim Timmons (*I Can Only Imagine 2*) and Hilary Beth Timmons for a deeply moving conversation about faith, family, and finding God in both the laughter and the loss. Through powerful stories and unexpected humor, they unpack the tension of parenting, marriage, and showing up for your family when you're carrying both grief and gratitude simultaneously. This episode is a reminder that faith doesn't remove the hard - it meets you in it. And somehow, even there, it holds everything together.

Episode 4: How Do We Hold On To God When We Are Struggling?
Guests: Jason Wahler, Drew Powell, and Christopher O'Reilly
