Wonder Project to Premiere New Original Series "I Gotta Ask," Hosted by Bestselling Author and Podcast Host Annie F. Downs, on May 28

Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX (May 14, 2026) - Wonder Project, an entertainment company, independent studio, and subscription service, today announced a new original series, I Gotta Ask, hosted by bestselling author and podcast host Annie F. Downs, and released the official trailer for the six-episode unscripted series. The conversation-driven show will premiere with its first two episodes on Wonder Project's subscription service on Prime Video on May 28.

What does it actually look like to live by faith in the middle of real life? Annie F. Downs gets honest with the people asking the same questions as you are about dating and divine timing, money and ambition, grief and gratitude, fear and anxiety, struggle and recovery, and what it means to build something that matters. Each conversation brings together experts, entrepreneurs, and everyday friends for unfiltered, laugh-out-loud, and deeply moving discussions about the tension between trusting God and showing up for your own life. Because faith doesn't remove the hard. It meets you in it in the waiting, the setbacks, the rock bottoms, and the quiet everyday moments where God is still moving.

The first two episodes premiere on May 28, followed by two episodes each on June 4 and June 11.

"I have always loved time around the table, sitting with friends, asking honest questions, and seeing what unfolds," said Annie F. Downs. "I am so excited to bring these conversations to Wonder Project. My hope is that viewers feel like they are right there with us, joining us in this place where curiosity is welcome, faith is explored, and asking more questions is the norm, not the exception. No one has to have it all figured out, we just get to be together and share our stories."

"I Gotta Ask transforms conversation into connection and is exactly the kind of uplifting, authentic series we're excited to launch here at Wonder Project," said Tristen Tuckfield, Head of Content Acquisition at Wonder Project. "We've been huge fans of Annie F. Downs for a long time and are proud to bring her honest voice and perspective to our audience."

The series is executive produced by Alex Baskin (Vanderpump Rules, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Ianthe Jones (The Talk, Steve, Dr. Phil), Jeff Festa (The Valley) and Joe Kingsley (Vanderpump Rules, The Valley) for 32 Flavors; Annie F. Downs and Kelli Haywood; Tristen Tuckfield (Tiger King), Justin Rosenblatt (House of David, It's Not Like That) and Ashley Hanna (Is It Cake?) for Wonder Project; Dallas Jenkins (The Chosen) and Amanda Jenkins.

The Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video is available in the U.S. for $8.99/month or $89.99/year after a 7-day free trial. For additional details, visit https://www.amazon.com/subscription/wonderproject.

Episode 1: Where Does Our Faith Meet Our Dating Lives?
Guests: Bela Gandhi, Tera Stidum, and Annie's friend Ashley
Logline: Why am I still single, is God even in my dating life, and if so - who's on my dating board of directors? Annie F. Downs sits down with dating coach Bela Gandhi, online dating expert Tera Stidum, and Annie's single friend Ashley for an unfiltered, laugh-out-loud honest conversation about love, relationships, and the pressure to "figure it out." From dating apps to divine timing, this episode dives into the tension no one talks about: How do you actively date while still trusting God? And what do you do when waiting starts to feel like rejection? Expect real talk and a fresh perspective on seeing God's humor, peace, and guidance in the middle of it all. Because maybe being single isn't a problem to solve - but a place where God is still moving.

Episode 2: How Do Faith And Family Influence Our Finances?
Guests: Anthony O'Neal, Rea Ann Silva, and Annie's friend Kelley
Logline: Can you trust God and still check your bank account five times a day? In this straight-talking, soul-meets-strategy conversation, Annie F. Downs is joined by Beauty Blender Founder and Owner Rea Ann Silva, financial expert Anthony O'Neal, and Annie's friend Kelley - who asks the questions we're all wondering but rarely ask out loud. From tithing when you feel broke to navigating ambition, contentment, and comparison, this episode tackles the real tension between faith and financial survival. Packed with practical tools, hard truths, and hope you can actually use, this conversation will challenge how you think about money - and empower you to handle it with wisdom, freedom, and faith.

Thursday, June 4
Episode 3: How Do We Remain Grateful While Grieving?
Guests: Tim Timmons and Hilary Beth Timmons
Logline: How do you hold joy and heartbreak at the same time? Annie F. Downs sits down with husband-and-wife duo Tim Timmons (*I Can Only Imagine 2*) and Hilary Beth Timmons for a deeply moving conversation about faith, family, and finding God in both the laughter and the loss. Through powerful stories and unexpected humor, they unpack the tension of parenting, marriage, and showing up for your family when you're carrying both grief and gratitude simultaneously. This episode is a reminder that faith doesn't remove the hard - it meets you in it. And somehow, even there, it holds everything together.

Episode 4: How Do We Hold On To God When We Are Struggling?
Guests: Jason Wahler, Drew Powell, and Christopher O'Reilly
Logline: God's voice can feel mysterious - especially during moments of struggle. But what if God is speaking and we've just been missing it? In one of the most raw and powerful conversations of the season, Annie F. Downs is joined by reality TV star Jason Wahler, pastor and podcaster Drew Powell, and Founder of Remedy Counseling and Wellness Christopher O'Reilly to explore addiction, recovery, and the quiet ways God shows up in our darkest moments. From rock bottom to redemption, these men share deeply personal stories of struggle, surrender, and learning to recognize God's voice in the everyday. If you've ever wondered whether God is near in your hardest moments, this episode will change the way you listen.

Thursday, June 11

Guests: Jon Acuff, Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East
Logline: Can your faith fuel your hustle? Annie F. Downs is joined by bestselling author Jon Acuff and Olympic Gold medalist and entrepreneurs Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East for an honest look at the emotional rollercoaster of building a business that matters. From big wins to crushing setbacks, this conversation gets real about ambition, identity, marriage in business, and trusting God when outcomes feel uncertain. If you've ever questioned your calling after a failure or felt the pressure to sustain success, this episode will remind you that God is just as present in the pivots as He is in the victories.

Episode 6: How Can Faith Ease Fear And Anxiety?
Guests: Melinda Doolittle, Trillia Newbell, and Lindsey Myers

Downs sits down with American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle, author Trillia Newbell, and entrepreneur Lindsey Myers for a deeply honest conversation about anxiety, fear, mental health, and trusting God in the unknown. Together, they name the fears we carry, about health, family, finances, and the future, and explore what it looks like to bring those fears to God instead of hiding from them.
