ABC Dumps 'Kingdom Hospital,' Adds More Summer Plans

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC's "Kingdom Hospital" is taking a long vacation as creator Stephen King has confirmed via his web site the network has pulled the show until Thursday, June 24.

At that time the four remaining installments - three one-hour episodes and the two-hour finale - will resume airing. Click here to read the original post.

Meanwhile, ABC has released a host of new information about its summer plans, including the launch of a new comedy block on Monday nights beginning June 14. In addition to the previously announced "What Happens in Cabo" (now titled "The Ultimate Love Test") and the final season of "The Drew Carey Show," ABC plans to debut three new series: "N.Y.P.D. 24/7" (Tuesdays at 10:00/9:00c starting June 22), a documentary series from the producers of "Hopkins 24/7" and "Boston 24/7"; "The Two Timer" (Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c starting June 23), a new reality series from "The Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss about a twentysomething man with a knack for juggling multiple women; and "My Big, Wild, You're-Not-Gonna-Believe-This Wedding" (Mondays at 10:00/9:00c starting June 14), hosted by Diane Sawyer.
