HALLMARK CHANNELS THIRD ANNUAL HOLIDAY PROMOTION TO REACH A RECORD 46 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS

Network Sets Holiday Scene with Highly Successful Hollywood Holiday Sweepstakes Promotion

Hallmark Channel announced today its bringing back a popular holiday tradition with the launch of its third annual promotion, The Hollywood Holiday Sweepstakes, a unique, cross-platform campaign that supports the networks five-weeks of holiday programming. The promotion leverages Hallmark Channels holiday programming during the networks highest rated time of year, delivering key revenue driving opportunities to affiliates through customizable marketing tools and exposure in 4200 Hallmark Gold Crown Stores during the retailers busiest time of year.

A record number of affiliates representing over 46 million subscribers are partnering with Hallmark Channel to utilize the power of the Hallmark brand, which has become synonymous with the holidays. Holiday 2004 participation levels represent a 20% increase over the networks previous 2004 Mothers Day campaign. In 2003, the holiday promotion, tied with popular programming and a comprehensive consumer campaign, pushed the network into the Top 10 Total Day ratings ranking for the first time.

The Hallmark brand has a proven track record. The strong participation by our affiliates for the third straight year demonstrates the value of our unique holiday retail promotions, stated Janice Arouh, Senior Vice President, Network Distribution and Services, Hallmark Channel.

Built around Hallmark Channels five-week holiday programming event, the Hollywood Holiday Sweepstakes provides two ways to enter. Members of Hallmark Gold Crown Card loyalty program can enter automatically by swiping their card when making a purchase at Hallmark Gold Crown Stores. Hallmark Channel viewers can enter by watching the networks holiday movies airing every Saturday night at 9 p.m. (E/P) from November 20 through December 18. A toll-free number will appear during each movie and viewers will have 30 minutes to call the number to enter.

Holiday movies highlighted during the promotion include:

- Saturday, November 20, 9 pm (E/P) Loves Enduring Promise

- Saturday, November 27, 9 pm (E/P) A Boyfriend for Christmas

- Saturday, December 4, 9 pm (E/P) Unlikely Angel

- Saturday, December 11, 9 pm (E/P) Single Santa SeeksMrs. Claus

- Saturday, December 18, 9 pm (E/P) Angel in the Family
