NEW BECK MUSIC TO PREMIERE ON "THE O.C." THURSDAY, MARCH 10 ON FOX

Tracks from Beck's upcoming album release "Guero" will make their world premiere during THE O.C. Thursday, March 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Featuring five songs from "Guero," THE O.C. will be the very first place to hear "Que Onda Guero," "Scarecrow," "Missing" and "Girl." The episode will also feature the album's first single, "E-Pro." Beck's first studio album in almost three years, "Guero" will be released March 29.

Josh Schwartz, creator/executive producer of THE O.C., said, "After hearing the new Beck album, both Alexandra Patsavas (music supervisor) and I felt there were too many good songs to choose just one. So instead we came up with the idea of a "Beckpisode" to premiere multiple tracks from his record in one episode. We're really honored to be associated with one of the true and enduring artists in music today."

During "The Mallpisode" episode of THE O.C., Lindsay's actions have left Ryan and Caleb confused. Marissa is trying hard to make her new living situation work, but she needs a break and agrees to join Summer, Seth and Ryan at the mall. Julie and Kirsten await the arrival of Carter (Billy Campbell), the new editor of Newport Living, but Julie is distracted when she's visited by Lance (Johnny Messner), an opportunistic man from her past.

Three years after the critically acclaimed and heart-wrenching opus "Sea Change," three-time Grammy winner and five-time MTV Video Music Award winner Beck returns with his most diverse, accomplished and compelling work to date: "Guero," out March 29 on Interscope. With the raucous first single "E-Pro" triumphantly "na-na-na"-ing Beck's return with early ads and a must-be-seen-to-be-believed video, "Guero" both reunites Beck with classic co-conspirators the Dust Brothers and explores territories uncharted by even this most innovative artist of his generation. Already a Maxim album of the month, a Spin and Playboy lead review and one of Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly's most anticipated records of 2005, "Guero" will be supported by a full-scale world tour.

From Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., THE O.C. is executive-produced by Josh Schwartz, McG and Bob DeLaurentis. The series stars Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen), Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan Atwood), Adam Brody (Seth Cohen), Mischa Barton (Marissa Cooper), Kelly Rowan (Kirsten Cohen), Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper), Rachel Bilson (Summer) and Alan Dale (Caleb Nichol).
