New York, NY (March 29, 2005) - The SCI FI juggernaut continues. Feeding on the unyielding momentum of its 'SCI FI Friday' lineup of original series, the Channel ends 1Q05 with the best first quarter - and second best of any quarter* - in its history. SCI FI averaged a 1.1 HH rating and delivered more young viewers than ever before and ranked solidly within the Top 10 of all cable networks in every key demo.

The verdict is in: SCI FI reigns supreme on Friday nights, coming in #1 (8-11pm) in 1Q05 among both P25-54 and P18-49. Additionally, the dominance of SCI FI's Friday night trio of original series - 'Stargate SG-1,' 'Stargate Atlantis' and 'Battlestar Galactica' - has made 'SCI FI Fridays' the #2 night of the week for all of cable among P25-54. It also puts SCI FI in cable's Top 5 on Fridays in: HH ratings, P2+, P18-34, F25-54 and F18-49.

--'Stargate SG-1' (Fridays at 8pm) enjoyed its highest-rated quarter yet on SCI FI, averaging a 2.1 HH rating and more than 2.5 million viewers P2+.

--'Stargate Atlantis' (Fridays at 9pm) averaged a 2.2 HH rating and 2.8 million viewers P2+.

--'Battlestar Galactica' (Fridays at 10pm) averaged a 2.4 HH rating and 2.9 million viewers P2+ for the quarter, making it the highest-rated original series in the history of SCI FI.

In 1Q05, SCI FI delivered more P18-49 and P25-54 than any other first quarter in its history. This is an increase of +11% and +10% over 2004, respectively. Additionally, SCI FI grew +17% in P18-34 and +25% in M18-34 vs. 1Q04.

SCI FI Ranks in cable TOP 10 for ratings in prime among P25-54 (#5), P18-49 (#6), M25-54 (#3) and F25-54 (#7).

SCI FI's crowd-pleasing Saturday original movies have continued to deliver big audiences, averaging a 1.7 HH rating and 2 million viewers P2+ for the quarter. The March 26 premiere of 'Alien Apocalypse,' starring Bruce Campbell, was the highest-rated of any of SCI FI's Saturday originals to date - delivering an incredible 2.3 HH rating and 2.7 million viewers P2+.
