USA NETWORK IS NUMBER ONE!

NEW YORK -- August 9, 2005 -- USA continued to show ratings strength for week 6 of 3Q05 as it ranked first for the week among P18-34 (509,000) and P18-49 (1,098,000).

Prime programming highlights for the week saw "Monk" earn its largest delivery since the Season 4 premiere among both households and total viewers. Episode 5 scored a 4.27 HH cvg rating, 2,024,000 P18-49s, 2,228,000 P25-54s and 5,378,000 total viewers P2+.

"Monk" remained the #1-rated program in all of basic cable Prime on Friday in all key demos. Every episode of "Monk" Season 4 to date has been the #1 program on Friday night among HHs, P18-49, P25-54 and total viewers P2+.

"The 4400" on Sunday night was also a strong performer for the network in key demos. The hit series delivered more P18-49, P25-54 than any other program in basic cable prime. The series posted a 2.59HH rating, 1,998,000 P18-49, 2,019,000 P25-54, 3,492,000 total viewers P2+.

"The 4400" and "The Dead Zone" were the top two programs in Sunday Prime among P18-49 and P25-54. Dead Zone delivered a 2.35HH rating, 1,787,000 P18-49, 1,727,000 P25-54, 3,074,000 total viewers P2+.

"Monk," "The Dead Zone" and "The 4400" originals all placed in the basic cable top 10 for the week among P18-49.
