THE WB TUESDAY SCORES THE NETWORK'S BEST RATING IN MORE THAN A YEAR AMONG ADULTS 18-49 AND GETS THE SEASON OFF TO A POSITIVE START IN ADULTS 18-34, MEN 18-34, ACROSS THE 18-49 DEMOS AND IN TOTAL VIEWERS

SUPERNATURAL and GILMORE GIRLS got The WB Network off to a flying start to the 2005-2006 television season.

GILMORE GIRLS, in its sixth season, is showing no signs of slowing down. Coming off its best season ever, GILMORE GIRLS scored even more growth and finished #1 ahead of the debut of �Bones� and the premiere of �The Biggest Loser,� winning its time period among adults 18-34 (3.1), women 18-34 (4.5), persons 12-34 (3.1) and women 12-34 (4.7).

GILMORE GIRLS also achieved the best ever Tuesday 8-9 p.m. premiere in the history of The WB among women 18-34 (4.5) and women 18-49 (4.0) as well as the series� new record premiere performance among adults 18-34 (3.1), adults 18-49 (2.8) and women 18-49 (4.0). It also achieved gains over last season's premiere in eight key demos including +11% in adults 18-34, +17% in adults 18-49 and +7% among total viewers (6.2 million).

SUPERNATURAL, which was #2 in its time period among persons 12-34 (2.5), men 18-34 (2.2) and men 12-34 (2.1), achieved gains over the time period season premiere of ONE TREE HILL in 2004. SUPERNATURAL improved over The WB's hit series among adults 18-34 (2.6, +4%), men 18-34 (2.2, +120%), adults 18-49 (2.5, +19%) and men 18-49 (2.1, +110%) as well as men 12-34 (2.1, +91%) and total viewers (5.7 million, +15%).

SUPERNATURAL's 2.5 rating in adults 18-49 was The WB's in the time period in two seasons.

For the night, The WB achieved the network's highest adult 18-49 rating (2.7) in more than a year and the best Tuesday since 2003 in the same demo. The WB Tuesday also scored gains over last year's Tuesday premiere night in adults 18-34 (2.9, +10%), men 18-34 (2.0, +77%), adults 18-49 (2.7, +20%), women 18-49 (3.5, +5%), men 18-49 (1.8, +50%) and total viewers (5.9 million, +10%).
