Rosa Parks is Remembered by GSN on Friday, October 28th

Park's Tribute Features Game Show Appearance on 'TO TELL THE TRUTH'

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 26 -- GSN will be airing a tribute to civil rights icon Rosa Parks who passed away Monday at the age of 92. GSN will air two game shows that featured Parks on Friday, October 28th with "TO TELL THE TRUTH" at 9:30 AM ET/PT and "JEOPARDY!" at 12:00 PM ET/PT.

Parks rose to public notoriety in 1955 when she was arrested for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white man in Montgomery, Alabama. Her act of civil disobedience started a chain of events that led to a 1956 Supreme Court ruling that declared segregation in Montgomery's transportation system illegal which in turn contributed to the passing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

Parks is the celebrity guest on the "TO TELL THE TRUTH" episode from 1980 and the answer to a question read by Martin Luther King III in "JEOPARDY!" from 2001. The tribute shows are in color and will pre-empt previously scheduled episodes.

Below is the schedule for the tribute. All times are Eastern and Pacific.

Friday, October 28th

9:30 AM "TO TELL THE TRUTH" Hosted by Robin Ward

12:00 PM "JEOPARDY!" Hosted by Alex Trebek
