NBC DIALS UP FULL-SEASON PICKUP FOR FRESHMAN ACTION-ADVENTURE SERIES 'E-RING'

NBC DIALS UP FULL-SEASON PICKUP FOR FRESHMAN ACTION-ADVENTURE SERIES 'E-RING'

BURBANK - November 15, 2005 - NBC has given its freshman action-adventure drama "E-Ring" (Wednesdays, 8-9 p.m. ET) an order for a full-season pickup of nine more episodes, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, NBC Entertainment.

Said Reilly: "'E-Ring' is hitting its stride creatively and commercially. The Bruckheimer company is relentless in their focus on creative growth of their series. We think that bodes well for the show to continue its forward momentum as the season progresses."

"E-Ring" is averaging a 2.5 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49 and 9.0 million viewers overall. "E-Ring's" ratings performance has strengthened since the show shifted to the Wednesday 8-9 p.m. (ET) hour on October 5. Last week, "E-Ring" matched its highest 18-49 rating of the season (2.8) and set a new series high in total viewers (9.9 million). That November 9 telecast won its time period in adults 25-54 and total viewers.

Benjamin Bratt ("Traffic," "Law & Order") and Dennis Hopper ("Easy Rider," "Speed") star in the high-octane drama set inside the nation's ultimate fortress: the Pentagon. It's a hub of highly explosive conflicts between American military heroes and the civilians to whom they report -- a world where crises can escalate into life-and-death climaxes for individuals or entire nations. Critical decisions are made by intelligence officers in the war room and executed by covert "Special Ops" on the battlefield that results in a delicate balance between protecting the homeland -- and protecting the life of a lone soldier.

Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc. produces "E-Ring." Thirty-time Emmy nominee Bruckheimer serves as executive producer along with Jonathan Littman ("The Amazing Race," "CSI: NY") and co-creator David McKenna ("S.W.A.T.," "Blow").
