Comedy Central� Presents The World Premiere Of "Jeff Dunham: Arguing With Myself" Debuting Saturday, April 8 At 9:00 P.M.*
NEW YORK, Monday, March 27, 2006 -- Jeff Dunham and his puppet pals take the stage for an evening of ventriloquist comedy at its finest. The World Premiere of "Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself" airs on COMEDY CENTRAL Saturday, April 8 at 9:00 p.m.
Encore presentations air Saturday, April 8 at 11:00 p.m.
From the O.C. Pavilion in Santa Ana, California, ventriloquist extraordinaire Jeff Dunham takes the stage with his crazy cast of characters including old friends as a well as a few new ones. Laugh out loud with veteran puppet partners Peanut, the impish purple creature, Walter, the grumpy cynic and the self-effacing pepper on a stick, Jose? Jalapen?o. Viewers will also be pleased to meet Dunham's two new sidekicks: backwoods NASCAR fanatic, Bubba J and Dunham's smooth-talking manager, Sweet Daddy Dee. Performing 40 weeks and 250 dates a year in concert venues, comedy clubs and countless private corporate appearances, Jeff Dunham is one of the most sought-after entertainers working today. Dunham has made numerous appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and he was recently nominated "Comedian of the Year" by the TNN Music City News Country Awards.
"Jeff Dunham: Arguing With Myself" was executive produced by Dunham, Judi Brown-Marmel, Robert Hartman, Stu Schreiberg and Stephen Kroopnick. Manny Rodriguez served as director.
