On Its New Day and Time, "The Amazing Race" Boosts the Week Ago 8:00-9:00 PM Averages By +88% in Adults 18-49 and +76% in Adults 25-54 While Adding More Than Two Million Viewers

"The Amazing Race" Is CBS's Highest Rated Program in the Time Period Among Adults 18-49 Since May 2003

On its new day and time, THE AMAZING RACE 9 improved upon the week ago time period averages by double digit percentages while adding more than two million viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen affiliate ratings for Wednesday, April 5.

THE AMAZING RACE 9 (5.0/8, 8.11m) averaged a 3.7/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.0/09 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week's performance of CBS's two comedies in the time period, AMAZING RACE was up +22% in households (from 4.1/06), +76% in adults 25-54 (from 2.1/05), +88% in adults 18-49 (from 1.6/04) while adding +2.15m viewers (from 5.96m, +36%).

THE AMAZING RACE 9 delivered CBS's highest rating in the time period among adults 18-49 (with regular programming) since May 14, 2003 ("Star Search").

On its new day and time, THE AMAZING RACE 9 improved upon the week ago time period averages by double digit percentages while adding more than two million viewers, according to Live Plus Same Day National Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, April 5.

THE AMAZING RACE 9 (4.9/08, 8.15m) averaged a 3.8/10 in adults 25-54, 3.1/09 in adults 18-49 and 2.4/08 in adults 18-34. Compared to last week's performance of CBS's two comedies in the time period, AMAZING RACE was up +20% in households (from 4.1/06), +81% in adults 25-54 (from 2.1/05), +94% in adults 18-49 (from 1.6/04), +118% in adults 18-34 (from 1.1/03) while adding +2.19m viewers (from 5.96m, +37%).

THE AMAZING RACE 9 delivered CBS's highest rating in the time period among adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (with regularly-scheduled programming) since March 12, 2003 ("Star Search").
