A&E NETWORK IN DEVELOPMENT ON TWO PILOTS DEALING WITH THE MOST FEARED TOPIC OF ALL: THE END OF A HUMAN LIFE

"LAST REQUESTS (working title)" and "SIX MONTHS"

NEW YORK, May 12, 2006 - A&E is in development with two distinct programs that deal with the overarching themes of death and dying: LAST REQUESTS (working title) and SIX MONTHS it was announced today by Nancy Dubuc, Senior Vice President, Non Fiction and Alternative Programming, A&E Network.

"These programs present potent and powerful reflections of the human condition," said Dubuc. "With LAST REQUESTS (working title) and SIX MONTHS, we are able to present two distinct approaches to a topic that is tremendously difficult to face, but one that can also lead families to an extraordinarily inspirational moment in time."

LAST REQUESTS (working title)

A real-life drama at its most poignant, LAST REQUESTS will, for the very first time, assist people in finding true emotional closure, making their life whole and complete, before they go. The show will cover topics ranging from confronting the festering wounds of a lifelong sibling feud, to finding a child put up for adoption years before, to walking a child down the aisle before passing on.

Nancy Dubuc and Elaine Frontain Bryant are the A&E executive producers. LAST REQUESTS (working title) is produced for A&E Network by World of Wonder (Monica in Black and White, The Eyes of Tammy Faye). The executive producers are Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey.

SIX MONTHS

SIX MONTHS asks the question: What would you do if you only had six months to live? An unfiltered look at real people who are making the journey through the last part of their lives, SIX MONTHS will be a celebration of a life, and the relationships which helped to define it. Raw, gritty, and emotional, SIX MONTHS is also inspiring, positive, and life-affirming.

Nancy Dubuc and Michael Morrison are the A&E executive producers. SIX MONTHS is produced for A&E Network by Rivr Media (Knight School, Backyard Habitat). The executive producers are Rob Lundgren and Dee Haslam. The supervising producer is Lori Stryer.
