The Closer and Saved Power TNT to Cable�s Top Spot for Q2 2006

With the enormous success of its record-breaking original series The Closer and new hit series Saved, TNT scored a major victory by ranking as cable�s #1 network for the quarter in prime time and total day among key adult demos and in prime time among persons 2+ and households. The Closer set an all-time record with its season premiere and ranks as the top program in June among key adults, while Saved ranks as ad-supported cable�s top new original scripted series of the year.
Q2 and June 2006 ratings highlights for TNT:
� For Q2 2006, TNT ranked as cable�s #1 network in cable prime among adults 18-49 (1,204,000); adults 25-54 (1,257,000); persons 2+ (2,585,000); and households (2,007,000), as well as cable�s #1 network in total day among adults 18-49 (671,000) and adults 25-54 (672,000).
� TNT�s Tuesday, June 12, premiere of The Closer set ad-supported cable records for the largest delivery ever of persons 2+ (8,278,000) and households (6,039,000) for an original scripted series telecast and ranked as ad-supported cable�s top program of the month among adults 25-54 (3,571,000).
� TNT�s new original series Saved currently ranks as ad-supported cable�s #1 new original scripted series of the year among adults 18-34 (498,000); adults 18-49 (1,696,000); adults 25-54 (2,134,000); persons 2+ (4,212,000); and households (3,347,000).
� TNT�s Monday, May 22, telecast of the NBA Playoff game between the Mavericks and the Spurs ranked as ad-supported cable�s #1 program of the quarter among adults 18-49 (3,838,000) and adults 25-54 (3,630,000), with the May 22 telecast of the Clippers/Suns NBA Playoff game ranking second for the quarter among adults 18-49 (3,520,000). The NBA Playoffs on TNT showed growth among key adult demos, key male demos, households and persons 2+ when compared to TNT�s 2005 coverage.
� For June, TNT ranked as cable�s #1 network among adults 18-49 (658,000) and adults 25-54 (676,000) in total day. TNT also beat UPN and The WB in broadcast prime for the month among adults 18-49, adults 25-54, men 18-49, men 25-54, persons 2+ and households.
� For the final week of June, TNT ranked as ad-supported cable�s #1 network in prime time among adults 25-54 (1,199,000), as well as in total day among adults 18-49 (651,000) and adults 25-54 (671,000).
