LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Just hours after canceling "The One: Making a Music Star," ABC has yanked another of its summer entries - the fourth season of "Extreme Makeover."
The series had been set to return to the Alphabet's schedule after a yearlong hiatus on Thursday, August 3 at 8:00/7:00c. Additional repeats of "Grey's Anatomy" will instead fill the hour through the end of the month.
No reason was given for the change. "Makeover" will now presumably be used as a midseason replacement on the network's 2006-07 season schedule, however nothing has been confirmed.
As for "The One," scheduling updates released by the network this afternoon indicate various comedy repeats will fill the show's Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c and Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c slots for the rest of the summer.
