NEW YORK, September 5, 2006 -- Be careful for what you wish for. COMEDY CENTRAL Films and Jackhole Industries teamed-up to pull the greatest and most elaborate practical joke ever played and the resulting masterpiece has been hailed by the likes of Robin Williams, David Cross, Matt Stone, Johnny Knoxville, Andy Dick and Eminem as "hysterical," "beyond genius" and "...funnier than anything you will ever see in your lifetime." "Windy City Heat," a full-length original reality film, is the climax of a decade-long practical joke played on its "star," Perry Caravello. "Windy City Heat: The Uncensored Director's Cut" arrives on DVD Tuesday, September 26, released via COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment. "WCH" will also be available at http://shop.comedycentral.com.

Acclaimed by Vice Magazine as "...quite simply the greatest movie of all time" and "Jeered" by TV Guide, "Windy City Heat" is a movie-within-a-movie, a real-life "Truman Show." Unknown actor Perry Caravello's friends/tormentors/co-stars, Don Barris and Tony Barbieri, have been promising the aspiring action hero a starring vehicle for more than seven years. Though he lacks any measure of talent or charisma, Perry's ego knows no bounds. With "documentary" cameras on hand to record Perry's every move as he wins the lead role of "Stone Fury," a "hardboiled Chicago sports private eye" in a movie called "Windy City Heat," his dreams finally become a reality.

What Perry doesn't realize is that there is no movie called "Windy City Heat." No one around him is who he or she says they are. Every actor, cameraman, PA and producer is in cahoots to manipulate our susceptible, egomaniacal, fame-hungry star whose every move -- from the audition to the premiere -- is chronicled by a "documentary" film crew and more than a dozen hidden cameras.

"Windy City Heat" originally aired on COMEDY CENTRAL in fall 2003, but actors/comedians Don Barris and Tony Barbieri had been laying the groundwork for this mother of all practical jokes from the moment they met Caravello in 1992. Kimmel joined the "project" in 1996.

"Windy City Heat" also stars Jimmy Kimmel, Carson Daly, Adam Carolla, Dane Cook, Tom Kenny, Lisa Kushell and William "The Refrigerator" Perry. Bobcat Goldthwait co-stars and directs.

"Windy City Heat: Uncensored Director's Cut" DVD is completely uncensored and features an extra full-length DVD jam-packed with hilarious bonus footage. Watch Perry's reaction when he sees the film for the very first time, marvel at audio and video commentary from Perry himself; be amazed by classic "Big Three" moments from the past including never-before-seen footage from 1992-present and deleted and extended scenes from the making of "Windy City Heat."

Jimmy Kimmel and Doug DeLuca are executive producers of "Windy City Heat." The movie was produced by Jackhole Industries in association with COMEDY CENTRAL Films. ###
