GHOSTS, GHOULS AND GOBLINS INHABIT ABC FAMILY FOR EIGHTH ANNUAL 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN

Includes ABC Family New Original Movie The Initiation of Sarah and The Television Premiere of Tim Burtons Corpse Bride

Burbank, CA (September 11, 2006) ABC Family will premiere frightening new programming in its eighth annual 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN tent pole programming event. The new ABC Family original movie The Initiation of Sarah and the television premiere of Tim Burtons Corpse Bride will join other Halloween themed programming airing the 13 nights leading up to Halloween (October 19 October 31).

Tim Burtons hit feature film Corpse Bride marks the spooktacular beginning of 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN event by making its television premiere on Thursday, October 19 (8:00 10:00 PM ET/PT). With Burtons unique dark vision, Corpse Bride follows the tale of Victor (voiced by Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest) who, on the eve of marrying his true love Victoria (voiced by Emily Watson, Life and Death of Peter Sellers), gets dragged to the underworld where he mistakenly marries a corpse bride (voiced by Helena Bonham Carter, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). This fantastical stop-animation movie brings Victor on an amazing quest to undo wrongs and let true love prevail.

ABC Family takes a look at the darker side of sororities in its new original movie The Initiation of Sarah, premiering Sunday, October 22 (8:00 10:00 PM ET/PT).
