JERRY SEINFELD STAYS UP LATE FOR LAUGHS ON "TALKSHOW WITH SPIKE FERESTEN" SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21, ON FOX

Emmy Award- and Golden Globe Award-winning comedian, actor and writer Jerry Seinfeld stays up late for a rare in-studio guest appearance alongside his former "Seinfeld" writer Spike Feresten on TALKSHOW WITH SPIKE FERESTEN Saturday, Oct. 21 (Midnight-12:30 AM ET/PT) on FOX.

Asked about Feresten's new job as a talk show host, Seinfeld endorsed the move, saying: "He's a really funny guy and he actually has a great thing with the audience."

As a writer on one of television's most celebrated comedies, Feresten penned some of "Seinfeld's" most famous episodes ("The Soup Nazi," "The Wig Master"), and now he welcomes his old boss, Jerry Seinfeld, to his new talk show. Seinfeld, co-creator, executive producer and star of the long-running hit sitcom, makes a rare talk show appearance to deliver an opening standup bit titled "What's Nuts Now?" and sit down with his former colleague for an interview.

In the episode airing Saturday, Oct. 7 (Midnight-12:30 AM ET/PT), Feresten welcomes Tom Lennon ("Reno 911!") and featured sketches will include "Judge Joe Brown" and "Pluto Demoted." Highlights of the following week, Saturday, Oct. 14 (Midnight-12:30 AM ET/PT), include a guest appearance by comedian Tom Green and Feresten's send-up of "Walk the Line."

TALKSHOW WITH SPIKE FERESTEN, executive-produced by Feresten and Mike Gibbons, is a production of Fox Television Studios. Michelle Armour is a co-executive producer.
