SYNOPSIS
In this innovative and imaginative hit series from the SCI FI Channel and NBC Universal Television Studios, U.S. Marshall Jack Carter stumbles into Eureka, a cozy hamlet in the woods that also happens to be a top-secret government research center. While retrieving his runaway teenage daughter Zoe (Jordan Hinson), Carter has a freak car accident outside of an out-of-the-way settlement that appears to be the epitome of wholesome, small town America. In fact, it's a quirky community of some of the world's most brilliant scientific minds, cloistered there to carry on groundbreaking and often dangerous research. When the consequences of an experiment gone awry puzzle even this advanced brain trust, Carter agrees to stay as sheriff. Now goings on at Eureka's Advanced Research Facility keep him hopping as he investigates seemingly impossible occurrences, including a politician who mysteriously appears in a crop circle, time manipulation and personality-altering pollen. Eureka: Season One includes all 12 episodes of the show that Louisville's Courier-Journal calls "The most original new drama - intelligent and entertaining."
The second season of Eureka premieres July 2007 on SCI FI. Eureka is produced by NBC Universal Television Studio.
