- BBC America joins forces with an elite Special Forces team in a U.S. drama premiere -

An action-packed new drama follows the adventures of a Special Air Service (SAS) unit (the UK equivalent of the Navy Seals) known as Red Troop. Each week the team put their lives at risk for their country as they take on a series of dangerous undercover missions. Ultimate Force premieres Tuesday, September 25, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

New recruits Alex Leonard (Sendhil Ramamurthy, Heroes) and Jamie Dow (Jamie Draven, Billy Elliot, Messiah), have just joined the elite SAS team led by tough, charismatic soldier, Henno Garvie, (Ross Kemp, Extras, EastEnders). Quiet, thoughtful and unassuming, Jamie is haunted by a tough upbringing and an abusive alcoholic stepfather � his escape was either prison or the Army. Choosing the Army, his natural abilities have shone through and Henno soon realizes Jamie demonstrates exceptional skills he has only seen in one other soldier � himself.

Single-minded, brave and tough, Henno is the consummate SAS soldier. His troop are second to none and Jamie will have to work hard to earn his place in the team. From home loving Pete Twamley (Tony Curran, Miami Vice) to babe magnet Jem Poynton (Elliot Cowan, Alexander), Red Troop is a disparate bunch drawn together only by love of the Regiment.

From infiltrating guerrilla activities and terrorist hijacks, to top-secret undercover operations and out-witting mastermind criminals and rebel leaders � team members put their lives on the line each week for their unit.
