Mark Steines ("Entertainment Tonight") And Lara Spencer ("The Insider") to Host

FOX will usher in the biggest night on television with a live pre-show, COUNTDOWN TO THE EMMYS, hosted by Mark Steines, co-anchor of "Entertainment Tonight," and Lara Spencer, co-anchor of "The Insider," Sunday, Sept. 16 (7:00-8:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The star-studded evening continues with Ryan Seacrest hosting the 59th PRIMETIME EMMY� AWARDS airing live (8:00-11:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

The one-hour special will highlight the star-studded arrivals of Emmy� nominees, presenters and special guests. Steines and Spencer will set the stage for the night's festivities as they mingle with the stars on the red carpet and get the inside scoop on the fashion, the nerves and the excitement.

Emmy Award-winning journalist Mark Steines celebrates his 12th season with "Entertainment Tonight," the No. 1 syndicated entertainment newsmagazine in the world. It is his fourth season as co-anchor, alongside anchor Mary Hart.

Lara Spencer is co-anchor of "The Insider," the second-highest-rated syndicated entertainment newsmagazine, after only sister show "Entertainment Tonight." Spencer has been co-anchor of "The Insider" since its inception in fall 2004, when it premiered with the highest-rated debut of any newsmagazine in syndication since 1996.

The COUNTDOWN TO THE EMMYS live pre-show will be executive-produced by Brad Lachman. Garry Bormet serves as producer. Bill Bracken serves as supervising producer.
