"HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER" GOES ONLINE, ON MOBILE PHONES AND ON iTUNES AND AMAZON UNBOX FOR SEASON THREE

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 - HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER will launch its third season (Monday, Sept. 24 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT) with a broad array of interactive initiatives designed to engage and grow its youthful and passionate fan base. The initiatives will include exclusive promotional short-form video content available on the web via the show's MySpace profile (www.MySpace.com/HowIMetYourMother) and the CBS Audience Network among other online platforms, mobile ringtones and voicetones, and full episodes from the first three seasons available for download on iTunes and Amazon Unbox.

Remarked HIMYM co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, "We'd love to take advantage of every opportunity to expand the visibility of our show. New technologies allow shows to be ubiquitous in ways never before possible. We want to be at the forefront of that. If you can download shows on the Internet, we want to be downloadable. If you can watch a show on your phone, we want to be there. When microchip brain implants come along, we want to be first in line."

Web Content

Marshall & Lily's Wedding Album and Honeymoon videos - Available now

"How It Really Happened" - Launches Sept. 24.

Available now as voicetones, fans can download to their cell phones a suite of Neil Patrick Harris-voiced Barneyisms as heard on the show. Among the 10 voicetones are "Suit Up!," "It's gonna be legen - wait for it and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is - dairy" and "When I get sad I stop being sad and be awesome instead."

Full Episodes Available for Download on iTunes and Amazon Unbox

Available in the CBS Store beginning Tuesday, September 25, fans can download for purchase the entire first and second seasons of HIMYM as well as new episodes every week from the upcoming season 3.
