Top Five Advance on the Road to SUNDAY BEST

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 -- On Tuesday night's episode of SUNDAY BEST, Trevon Davis of Atlanta, GA and Janice Collins of Pasadena, CA said good-bye as the five remaining contestants continued to the next round of competition, to strive for the title of America's next great gospel singer. The Top Five SUNDAY BEST contestants are:

Crystal Aikin - Tacoma, Washington

Emily Gomez - American Falls, Idaho

Jermaine Sellers - Joliet, Illinois

Shari Addison - Chicago, Illinois

Tasha Collins - Chicago, Illinois

Hosted by gospel great Kirk Franklin, SUNDAY BEST is among this year's top BET series, averaging more than one million viewers per week. Judged by Grammy Award-winning gospel superstars BeBe Winans and dynamic singing siblings Erica and Tina Campbell of Mary Mary, the top five finalists will be mentored by such seasoned artists from the gospel world as Shirley Caesar and Stephanie Mills and offered the chance to take their praise to the next level and earn the title of SUNDAY BEST. The winner will receive a recording contract, a 2008 Toyota Camry and a $300,000 Tide "Loads of Hope" prize package to support the winner's community.

Viewers can watch encore broadcasts of SUNDAY BEST on Fridays at 10pm ET/PT and Sundays at 11am and 8pm ET/PT.
