SLEUTH CELEBRATES A-LIST SLEUTHS IN FEBRUARY
A Weeklong Event of Oscar Winners and Nominees Kicks Off a Month of Award-Winning Mystery and Intrigue
BURBANK, Calif. � January 28, 2008 � Sleuth is giving viewers an abundance of A-list stars as they celebrate award season in February. These celebrated actors are also featured in a Weekend Of Spies marathon while President's Day brings fan-favorite bank robbery films. Additionally, viewers can catch award-winning lineups on Murder Mondays, Action Wednesdays and Weekend Stakeouts.
"February is the height of the award season and we have assembled the best of the award-winning mystery and crime films on Sleuth," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice President, Emerging Networks, NBC Universal Cable. "Fans of mystery and crime films and series will find a delectable selection on Sleuth this month."
Sleuth pays tribute to Oscar nominees and winners with a weeklong film event. Beginning on Monday, February 18 and concluding on Sunday, February 24, Sleuth will give viewers the chance to see their favorite award-winning actors - including Tom Hanks, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Spacey, Charlize Theron and more. Sleuth brings viewers a Weekend of Spies from Friday, February 8 through Sunday, February 10. The biggest stars - including Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis and Bridget Fonda - star in spy and intrigue films all weekend long. "Spy Game" airs Friday, February 8 at 8pm and 10:30pm ET. "The Jackal" airs Saturday, February 9 at 8pm and 10:30pm ET. Sunday, February 10 has "Point of No Return" at 8pm and 12am ET followed by "Code Name: Minus One" at 10pm and 2am ET.
Sleuth has a Dead Presidents Marathon in store for President's Day. Viewers will enjoy a marathon of bank robbery films and catch the master criminals at work in "The Alpha Caper" at 1pm and 7pm ET, "A Bronx Tale" at 2:30pm and 8:30pm ET, "The Brink's Job" at 5pm and 1am ET and "Bound" at 11pm and 3am ET.
Sunday, February 24 brings a Mob Scene Double Feature. Audiences will get a chance to catch up with Robert DeNiro in "A Bronx Tale" at 8pm and 12:30am ET followed by Ken Wahl in "Wiseguy: The Movie" at 10:30pm and 3am ET.
