"AMERICAN IDOL" GETS STAMP OF APPROVAL

"Idol" Winners To Be Featured on PhotoStamps; Net Proceeds Support "Idol Gives Back"

Last night, Ryan Seacrest announced that AMERICAN IDOL winners will be featured on limited-edition postage created by PhotoStamps.com. Net proceeds from the sales of the exclusive PhotoStamps will benefit the Emmy Award-winning IDOL GIVES BACK.

The unique collectable AMERICAN IDOL postage will honor previous winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks, as well as the soon-to-be-decided Season Seven winner. PhotoStamps featuring AMERICAN IDOL Season One winner, Kelly Clarkson, are currently available at americanidol.com and photostamps.com. Future issues, featuring a different Idol every week, will be available online on Tuesdays for the next six weeks.

AMERICAN IDOL postage will feature exclusive designs for each of the 50 states. Only 100,000 sheets of PhotoStamps will be issued weekly, and each state will have its own design featured on 2,000 of the sheets. AMERICAN IDOL PhotoStamps are first-class rate postage valued at 42 cents each, and each sheet (20 PhotoStamps per sheet) will retail for $19.99.

About PhotoStamps

PhotoStamps (www.photostamps.com) is a patented product by Stamps.com (Nasdaq: STMP), the leading provider of Internet-based postage services. Since launching PhotoStamps in May 2005, more than 50 million individual PhotoStamps have been purchased.
