NBC UNIVERSAL STARS STRUT THEIR STUFF AND PUT THEIR REPUTATIONS ON THE RUNWAY FOR THE 'MACY'S PASSPORT CELEBRITY CATWALK CHALLENGE' SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11

Tori Spelling to Host; Runway Models in Training Include NBC Universal Stars Jerry Springer, Bob Harper, Jack Coleman, Nancy O'Dell, Kate Flannery, Leyla Milani; and Musical Performances by The Pussycat Dolls, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo and Jabbawockeez

BURBANK - September 25 - NBC will air the "Macy's Passport Celebrity Catwalk Challenge," a one-hour special hosted by Tori Spelling (Oxygen's "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood") on Saturday, October 11 (8-9 p.m. ET). The special, inspired by Macy's signature Passport fashion show and in honor of the retailer's 150th birthday, will showcase the rigorous runway training of NBC Universal celebrities Jerry Springer ("America's Got Talent"), Bob Harper ("The Biggest Loser"), Jack Coleman ("Heroes"), Nancy O'Dell ("Access Hollywood"), Kate Flannery ("The Office") and Leyla Milani ("Deal or No Deal" model) as they put their reputations on the line to become Macy's Passport models.

Also in the special will be musical performances by The Pussycat Dolls, Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo and Jabbawockeez.

The NBC Universal stars will go through rigorous schooling in the quest to become runway models. Their adventures while preparing with New York Model Management Agency Director Cory Bautista, judge of the Bravo series "Make Me A Supermodel," will all be documented on camera and their struggles and triumphs will be showcased in the special. All of the preparation will lead up to the moment they put everything on the line -- their "catwalk professional debut" at the finale of the 2008 Macy's Passport event in Los Angeles.

The special, which also integrates behind-the-scenes footage from the actual 2008 Macy's Passport fashion show, will also air October 12 on USA (1-2 a.m. ET) and Bravo (5-6 p.m. ET), as well as October 13 on Oxygen (8-9 p.m. ET). Special coverage of the event other behind-the-scenes moments will also air during the October 11th episode of Telemundo's "Nitido."

Bob Bain, Aaron Grosky and Kevin Wall are the executive producers of this one-hour special from Bob Bain Productions and Control Room.

The "Macy's Passport Celebrity Catwalk Challenge" is the fourth special that Macy's and NBC have teamed up for. Other specials include the "Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade," "The Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular" and the upcoming holiday special, "Macy's Presents Little Spirit: Christmas in New York."
