THEWB.COM DEBUTS NEW SERIES FOR OCTOBER

Cast and Premiere Dates Announced for Original Series "Rich Girl, Poor Girl," from Producers of "Laguna Beach"

Additional New Series "High Drama: Against All Oz" and "Downers Grove" Also to Premiere

Burbank, Calif. (October 2, 2008) TheWB.com a premium, ad-supported, video-on-demand, interactive and personalized network today announced a rich slate of original programming for the month of October. Kicking off the original series premieres on October 6 is "High Drama: Against All Oz," a behind-the-scenes look at a high school production of "The Wizard of Oz," followed by "Rich Girl, Poor Girl," the latest unscripted series from the creators of "Laguna Beach," on October 20. "Downers Grove," premiering in mid-October, follows four offbeat friends and the quirky adventures they face in their small town.

TheWB.com also announced today that Tarra Woolen, from the swanky Los Angeles enclave of Pacific Palisades, and Angie Riccio, from East Los Angeles, are the stars of "Rich Girl, Poor Girl."

Angie is a 19-year-old sassy, strong-minded and free-spirited young woman who lives in the heart of East Los Angeles. She's a night owl who detests school and lives an unstructured life. Tarra, on the other hand, is a super-achieving 19-year-old from the Pacific Palisades, who is highly motivated, loves structure and routine, and wakes up early every day to exercise. All bets are off when this Westside cheerleader and prom queen changes places with a streetwise teen from Los Angeles.

These new original series round out TheWB.com's already robust collection of new and classic programming available on the site. Visitors can also use TheWB.com's many interactive features to edit and mash together clips from their favorite shows and share them with friends. Viewers can control, customize, reorder, re-edit and reinterpret shows in a very personal way.

Original series premiering in October include:

"High Drama: Against All Oz": This unique comprehensive look into what it takes to create a successful high-school musical production premieres on TheWB.com October 6. Cape Cod's Barnstable High School serves as the setting for a group of dedicated students and faculty who work together to put on a production of "The Wizard of Oz." The viewer witnesses the bonding of the cast and crew through difficulties and triumphs from the first day of auditions until the last curtain drops. The characters featured in "High Drama" provide the viewer with an open and honest look into many issues teenagers currently face. From Bombo Sports & Entertainment in association with Studio 2.0, "High Drama: Against All Oz" is executive produced by Bombo's Steven Bram, Paul Doyle, Jr. and Bob Potter, Studio 2.0's Rich Rosenthal and James Percelay.

"Rich Girl/Poor Girl": Premiering October 20, this reality series from Luckey Lifestyles, the new media division of Go Go Luckey Entertainment ("Laguna Beach," "Paranormal State"), takes a wealthy Pacific Palisades, California, girl and swaps her life with that of a low-income teen from an urban environment in Los Angeles. It's a comedic social experiment that exposes what makes us different and what we have in common. "Rich Girl, Poor Girl" was created by Gary Auerbach, who also executive produces with Dennis Principe and Stephanie Jenz for Luckey Lifestyles in association with Studio 2.0.

"Downers Grove": Premiering in mid-October on TheWB.com, "Downers Grove" follows Alden, Brett, Pudge, and Jodi, four friends in their early 20s who never grew up. When everyone their age went away to college, they stayed in the suburbs, always on the prowl for the next party and never far from disturbing the peace. In Downers Grove, you can never go home again. So they never left. From Sorry, Dad Productions and Mr. Nice in association with Studio 2.0, "Downers Grove" was created by and stars Justin Becker, Michael Blaiklock, David Horwitz and Elisha Yaffe. The executive producers are Anne Kenny and Eric Wilker.
