DAISY OF LOVE (VH1, New!) - Reality gurus Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego are once again expanding their "Love" franchise at the cable channel, this time featuring "Rock of Love 2" runner-up Daisy De La Hoya. Casting is currently underway at DaisyOfLoveCasting.com where visitors can submit themselves and vote on other potential suitors. The site's casting notice reads: "Well, it may not have worked out with Bret, but that just means there's more Daisy for the rest of us. That's right, Daisy DeLaHoya, that rambunctious Rocker from Rock of Love 2 is back with her own show and is seeking her soulmate. Since there's such a wealth of qualified eligible bachelors out there, we wanted to open up the casting to the web... so here we are! One lucky hopeful will be voted onto the show by site users... so the choice is in your hands! Get going and create a hopeful profile and you'll be in the running for a spot on the show. If you just want to help make the call, sign up as a voter and start dishing out some votes! Be sure to check out the site requirements below so you can be sure to remain in the running for as long as possible. Good luck, and rock on!" Production is expected to be completed in time for a spring 2009 premiere. Cronin and Abrego are executive producing alongside Ben Samek via their 51 Minds Entertainment banner.

I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW (ABC) - The Alphabet is moving forward with a second season of the summer entry, which takes contestants from the U.S. to Japan to tackle a series of goofy challenges in pursuit of a $250,000 grand prize. 10 new episodes are set to roll out next summer with Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Andrew Scheer returning as executive producers.

KNIGHT RIDER (NBC) - The Peacock has asked producers of the freshman drama for four additional scripts, an early indication more episodes of the series may be ordered. The news comes in spite of a so-so performance - 7.3 million viewers and a 2.4 rating/7 share in adults 18-49 on average - in its first three airings.

OPERATION FABULOUS (The CW, New!) - "America's Next Top Model" regulars Jay Manuel and J. Alexander are set to be the focus of a potential new reality series in which the pair travel the country giving women makeovers. The netlet has ordered a pilot to the project, to be executive produced by "Top Model's" Tyra Banks and Ken Mok. As for specifics, "the duo will select five participants and give them "Top Model"-style overhauls - how to dress, wear their hair and makeup and bring out their confidence with the support of family, friends and their community." Kristina Productions, Mok's 10x10 Entertainment and Banks's Bankable Productions are co-producing.

V (ABC, New!) - "The 4400" co-creator/executive producer Scott Peters is shepherding a revival of the cult 1980s franchise in which aliens known as "The Visitors" try to take over Earth. Peters, who penned the script for Warner Bros. Television on spec, will executive produce the new incarnation alongside HDFilms principal Jace Hall. It's understood the new "V" will again open with an enormous army of spaceships hovering over the world's major cities with the aliens indicating they've come to help Earth, but actually have far more sinister motives. The new throughline however will center on Erica Evans, a Homeland Security agent with an aimless son who gloms onto The Visitors, causing tension within the family. NBC and original creator Kenneth Johnson previously attempted to revive the franchise in 2003 with the TV movie "V: The Second Generation," which stalled in the script stage. Johnson isn't involved in the ABC version. As for Peters, he's also been tapped to direct the new pilot to CBS's midseason drama "Harper's Island."
