TWO MORE CATEGORIES ANNOUNCED FOR "THE 35TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS"

Voting Continues for Favorite New TV Comedy and Drama on pcaVOTE.com

The nominees for "Favorite Online Sensation" and "Favorite User Generated Video" were revealed on THE 35TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS Web site, http://www.pcavote.com/. These categories, along with the finalists for "Favorite New TV Comedy" and "Favorite New TV Drama" will remain open for voting until THE 35TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS live broadcast begins on Wednesday, Jan. 7 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The first awards show of 2009, THE 35TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS will honor fan favorites in television, movies and music in a total of 43 categories. Winners will be revealed during the live broadcast to be hosted by Queen Latifah from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Carol Donovan ("GQ Men of the Year Awards") is the executive producer for the fifth year. Central Talent Booking is the talent consultant. Bruce Gowers ("The American Music Awards") is directing the special.
