FOX ROCKS iTUNES CHARTS

GLEE's "Don't Stop Believin'" No. 1 Song and Ringtone; AMERICAN IDOL Dominates iTunes Top 10

Following the preview of its critically acclaimed new series, GLEE, and the two-night grand finale of AMERICAN IDOL, FOX dominates the iTunes music charts with the No. 1 position on both the Top Songs and Top Ringtones charts, five additional songs in the Top 10 of the Top Songs chart and four IDOL albums in the Top 10 of the Top Albums chart.

Topping both the iTunes Songs and Ringtones chart is the cast of GLEE's performance of "Don't Stop Believin'." After a special preview last Tuesday, the Glee Club's performance of the Journey classic shot into the Top 10 and then hit No. 1. Featuring a soundtrack of hit songs from past and present, GLEE returns this fall on FOX.

After their performances on the grand finale, AMERICAN IDOL winner Kris Allen, runner-up Adam Lambert and Season Seven winner David Cook occupy half of the iTunes Top 10 Songs. Kris Allen secured the No. 4 position with "No Boundaries," took No. 6 with "Heartless" and claimed No. 9 with his rendition of "Ain't No Sunshine." Meanwhile, Adam Lambert's "Mad World" occupied the No. 5 spot. David Cook, who returned to the IDOL stage to perform Wednesday evening, captured the No. 7 position with his latest single, "Permanent."

The Idols also have four of the Top 10 Albums, including "Season 8 Favorite Performances" by Adam Lambert at No. 5, Kris Allen's "Season 8 Favorite Performances" at No. 6, the "Kris Allen iTunes Pass" at No. 8 and David Cook's collection holding at No. 9.

Recordings of performances from both GLEE and AMERICAN IDOL are available on iTunes. GLEE cast performances of "Rehab" and "Don't Stop Believin'" are available now, and additional bonus preview tracks of future songs from the series are scheduled for a late summer release.
