BOARDWALK EMPIRE (HBO) - Michael Kenneth Williams, Dabney Coleman and Paz de la Huerta have booked the final principal roles on the drama pilot, which chronicles the early 20th century origins of Atlantic City. De la Huerta will play Lucy, the party girl squeeze of liquor-distributior Nucky Johnson (Steve Buscemi). Williams then is set as Chalky White, the unofficial "mayor" of Chickenbone Beach, the African-American section of Atlantic City, an ex-boxer and confidant of Nucky's who rules his community with an iron fist. Coleman rounds out the bunch as Commodore Kaestner, Nucky's predecessor and mentor. The show's large ensemble cast also includes Aleksa Palladino, Anthony Laciura, Kelly Macdonald, Michael Pitt, Michael Shannon, Paul Sparks, Shea Whigham, Stephen Graham and Vincent Piazza. Martin Scorsese is helming the hour off of a script by Terence Winter. Production is underway with Stephen Levinson and Mark Wahlberg executive producing alongside Scorsese and Winter.


DOLLHOUSE (FOX) - Maurissa Tancharoen reports via her Twitter feed that "Reaper" co-creators Michelle Fazekas and Tara Butters have joined the show's writing staff for its second season. No other specifics however were given.


NCIS: LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Adam Jamal Craig, who co-starred in the network's failed drama pilot "Washington Field," has joined the cast of the "NCIS" spin-off. He'll play Dominic Vaile, a new young agent at the show's Office of Special Projects. No other specifics were given.


TERRIERS (A.K.A. UNTITLED SHAWN RYAN/TED GRIFFIN PROJECT) (FX) - "The Shield" creator Shawn Ryan is back in business with the cable channel, landing a pilot order for his dramedy about a police detective who becomes a private investigator and takes on a hot-shot young partner. "Ocean's Eleven" screenwriter Ted Griffin penned the hour with Ryan executive producing via his 20th Century Fox Television-based MiddKid Productions for Fox21.
