LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC, CBS and NBC will all carry President Obama's address to Congress on Wednesday, his sixth primetime speech since taking office.
The planned hourlong coverage, beginning at 8:00/7:00c, will include a Republican response.
To accommodate the address, CBS and NBC will pre-empt their previously announced repeat programming: "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried" on the former and an "America's Got Talent" recap on the latter.
ABC will instead shift "Wipeout" to the 9:00/8:00c hour, pre-empting newcomer "Crash Course."
Said moves leave FOX as the only holdout. The network is expected to pass on broadcasting the address due to the heavily-promoted season premieres of "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Glee" that night. FOX previously declined to carry Obama's speeches on April 29 and July 22.
