Discovery to Open "Motor City Motors" on January 4

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Discovery has booked its "Monster Garage" revival for Monday, January 4 at 10:00/9:00c.
The series, officially dubbed "Motor City Motors," follows "renowned fabricators and custom bike builders" Dave and James Kaye, founders of Detroit Bros. Custom Cycles. Thom Beers and Tom McMahon are behind the hour, which comes from Beers's Original Productions.
New episodes of the relocated "Mythbusters" will lead into the newcomer at 9:00/8:00c beginning on said date.
Also due in January: new episodes/seasons of "Dirty Jobs" (Tuesdays at 9:00/8:00c starting January 5), "Man vs. Wild" (Wednesdays at 9:00/8:00c starting January 6) and "American Loggers" (Fridays at 10:00/9:00c starting January 15).
And finally, look for "Solving History" (working title) to premiere Wednesday, January 13 at 10:00/9:00c. The series, hosted by Oliver "Olly" Steeds, tracks the journalist as he "travels to the ends of the earth to investigate the truth behind some of the world's biggest mysteries." Among the topics: the lost city of Atlantis, the Ark of the Covenant and the Nazca Lines.
