ABC ANNOUNCES BACHELORETTES FOR 14TH EDITION OF THE BACHELOR
JAKE PAVELKA BEGINS HIS SEARCH FOR THAT ONE SPECIAL WOMAN WHEN "THE BACHELOR: ON THE WINGS OF LOVE" PREMIERES, MONDAY, JANUARY 4, ON ABC
The 25 Bachelorettes Who Look to Capture the Sexy Pilot's Heart Are Revealed
What do an NBA dancer, a corporate flight attendant, a mortgage loan officer and a captain in the Air National Guard have in common? They all have their sights set on moving to Dallas with the new Bachelor, Jake Pavelka, when "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love," the 14th edition of ABC's popular romance reality series, premieres MONDAY, JANUARY 4 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Jake, 31, a commercial airline pilot, meets 25 potential soul mates as he begins his exciting search for true love. In the premiere episode, "1401," Jason prepares for the night of his life, as the 25 beautiful bachelorettes, who can think of nothing but him, begin to arrive.
Rozlyn, a stunning blonde model who isn't afraid to make the first move, is the first out of the limo, and Jake is immediately smitten by her beauty. Vienna, a bold woman who makes no secret of her fondness for the handsome Bachelor, asks to touch his well-defined abs, while Ashleigh ends up literally falling into Jake's arms.
As the party begins and Jake makes the rounds greeting the women, Ali, an adorable girl-next-door who is risking her future to win the Bachelor's heart, confesses her fear of flying. Ashley, a tempting teacher, causes a ruckus by putting on a very revealing flight attendant's uniform in her bid to get Jake's attention and steals him away from the unsuspecting Ella, a single mom and hairstylist who is looking for a nice guy to complete her family. When Elizabeth from Nebraska, an athletic hottie who loves to play games, challenges Jake to a friendly game of touch football, blondes line up versus brunettes in a Bachelor first - a sexy, barefoot-in-eveningwear football scrimmage! The question remains will Elizabeth win it all in the game of love?
Tensions mount and sparks fly when the "first impression" rose is brought out by Chris Harrison, and Jake makes his first decision much to the delight and surprise of one woman. For Michelle, who is one of Jake's biggest fans and will stop at nothing to get her man, the pressure is too much and she breaks down in tears when she doesn't get enough time with the Bachelor.
Then Jake, in his first rose ceremony, must eliminate 10 of the 25 women, leaving 15 to compete for his affection and, in the end, his heart.
The 25 women are:
