DARK BLUE (TNT) - Tricia Helfer ("Battlestar Galactica") has joined the cast of the drama, about a team of undercover cops in Los Angeles. No details however were given about her character. Season two of "Blue" rolls out this summer.
GENERATION Y (ABC) - Anne Son ("ER") has joined the cast of the drama pilot, creator Noah Hawley has posted to his Twitter account. The project revolves around the lives of eight young adults during a 10-year span in Austin. She'll play Caroline Chung, a fellow classmate who slept with Steven Foster ("The Overachiever") on prom night and returns 10 years later announcing they have a nine-year-old son, Tom. Daniella Alonso, Julian Morris, Keir O'Donnell, Kelli Garner and Michael Stahl-David also star in the hour, which Craig Gillespie is directing. ABC Studios is producing.
HAWAII FIVE-O (CBS) - Grace Park ("The Cleaner") is the latest addition to the Alex O'Loughlin-led drama pilot, about an elite branch of the Hawaii State Police. She'll play Kono Kalakaua, the niece of Daniel Dae Kim's character, "a beautiful and smart champion surfer who is about to graduate from the police academy when McGarrett (O'Loughlin) recruits her to join his team." Taryn Manning also stars in the CBS Television Studios-based hour, which comes from co-creators Alex Kurtzman, Peter Lenkov and Roberto Orci.
LOVE BITES (NBC) - Jordana Spiro ("My Boys") has booked a lead role on the drama pilot, a "Love, American Style"-esque anthology about relationships. She'll play Frannie, "a sarcastic career bridesmaid who is sick of being single," in one of the three stories, which also features Becki Newton as pal Annie, "an optimistic, infectiously bubbly social worker who is a virgin." Spiro's casting is in second position to her TBS series, due back this summer. Cindy Chupack is behind the hour, which is set up at Universal Media Studios and Working Title Films.
THE ROCKFORD FILES (NBC) - Dermot Mulroney ("My Best Friend's Wedding") has been tapped for the title role in the drama pilot, about "a roguish private eye who tackles the dangerous, quirky and unpredictable cases that no other detective wants to handle." He'll play James Rockford, a role originated by James Garner in the 1970s series of the same name. He's detailed in the script as being "a good looking, 40ish, slightly crumpled man wearing a slightly crumpled jacket (no tie)." David Shore penned the Universal Media Studios-based hour which he's executive producing alongside Steve Carell.
