GSN'S HIT SERIES "BAGGAGE" TO LAUNCH STUNT WEEK STARTING MONDAY, OCTOBER 4
Santa Monica, CA - September 27, 2010 - Alluring older women, bikini-clad daters, lovelorn geeks, sexy seniors and shiny happy bald guys - yes, it's stunt week at GSN's (Game Show Network's) highest rated original strip series ever, BAGGAGE, hosted by Jerry Springer. The dating scene will get even more interesting when these men and women bring all their baggage to the table in special themed episodes starting Monday, October 4. The BAGGAGE stunt week launches on Monday, October 4, and runs through Friday, October 8, with each episode airing at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
COUGARS (October 4): Three sexy older women claw and battle to win the heart of a young cub named Sean. But how will he feel when he finds out one of the cougars has a daughter older than he is? And will the winning cougar accept that Sean is the president of a Justin Bieber fan club... or an international vampire club?
BAGGAGE ON THE BEACH (October 5): Three gorgeous women and one studly guy bare their baggage and their bodies in this Bikini Bombshell special episode. But the women still have three pieces of baggage to go with their two-piece bathing suits. And the winning lady will have to decide if six-pack abs make up for the dater being an extreme mama's boy, a vengeful ex, or a creepy brother-in-law.
GET HER TO THE GEEK (October 6): Geeks need love too, and in this special episode, three nerdy guys show off their brains and their baggage in hopes of winning over their dream girl, Hollie. Hollie may be a blond knockout but she loves all things geeky, including her men. The question is: Can she handle a guy whose baggage is more freak than geek?
SEXY SENIORS (October 7): Dater Romaine is a glam 72-year-old looking for a man to stay young with. And as she'll find out, older men carry a lot of benefits, but they also carry 60+ years of baggage! It's a wild episode as these seniors reveal their wild histories and hygiene issues that no woman of any age should have to deal with.
BALD AND BEAUTIFUL (October 8): They may not have hair, but they have plenty of baggage. In this special episode, dater Melissa must choose between three men who have one thing in common - they're all completely bald. She does love bald men, but will their baggage take the shine off? How will she react when one baldy admits to just losing his virginity last year, while another "Mr. Clean" reveals he lives in filth?
On each half-hour episode of BAGGAGE, Springer guides the fun as one dater chooses among three contestants who reveal the intimate secrets and hidden flaws that are typically kept under wraps to impress a first date. Each contestant enters with three suitcases - small, medium and large - containing the quirky, annoying and sometimes truly shocking "baggage" that may or may not eliminate the contestants from competition, to the accompaniment of the dater's tagline, "I'm sorry, but you have too much baggage." With a lively pace and a playful sense of humor, BAGGAGE reveals what people are willing to put up with in the name of finding love.
BAGGAGE is produced by a unit of Comcast Entertainment Studios, with Jay James and Michael Binkow serving as Executive Producers.
