truTV Orders Third Season of Hit Original Series ALL WORKED UP, Along With New Spinoff Series LIZARD LICK TOWING

truTV has ordered a third season of its hit original series ALL WORKED UP and has given the greenlight to the spinoff series LIZARD LICK TOWING. The network ordered 13 episodes for the third season of ALL WORKED UP, the series that follows regular working people who endure being yelled at, insulted and sometimes even assaulted ... all before their first coffee break. truTV has also ordered six episodes of LIZARD LICK TOWING, which centers on a North Carolina repossessing and towing company that was one of the most popular fixtures in the first season of ALL WORKED UP. Both series are slated to air in early 2011.

"ALL WORKED UP has been a tremendous success for truTV. It introduced viewers to some extremely fascinating people working very difficult jobs," said Marc Juris, executive vice president and general manager of truTV and In Session. "Those folks include Ron and Amy Shirley, whose adventures in the repo world will be at the center of our new series LIZARD LICK TOWING. We are very excited to see what these two great series have in store."

ALL WORKED UP showcases the first-person stories of a recurring cast of workers who must calm people down on a daily basis. From repossessing property to delivering court papers, the professionals featured in the show have been there, done that and lived to tell about it. The result is a blend of passionate confrontations and laugh-out-loud encounters.

Ron and Amy Shirley, along with Bobby Brantley, Ron's best buddy and recovery agent, have become breakout personalities on ALL WORKED UP. All three will continue to appear on that show, while also being at the center of LIZARD LICK TOWING, which is named after the Shirleys' Wendell, N.C., towing and repo company. They primarily repossess vehicles and machinery, and most of their clients are lien holders. Ron's role is to locate and repossess property, while Amy deals with irate owners who come demanding that their property be returned. An ordained minister, Ron has a soft spot for people who have truly fallen on hard times. He and his wife prepare a huge barbecue meal each year to help some of the people whose property has been repossessed by the company.

In addition to the Shirleys and Brantley, ALL WORKED UP will welcome back Bryan McElderry, a process server in New York; Mike Coppola, a big-ticket repo specialist; and Jackie Pucci, a southern California meter maid.

ALL WORKED UP premiered in October 2009 and returned for its second season this summer. The show ranks as one of truTV's strongest series, averaging 1.6 million viewers; 842,000 adults 18-49; and 497,000 men 18-49. The Monday, Aug. 9, season finale of ALL WORKED UP scored truTV's biggest audience of the summer among viewers (2.4 million), adults 18-49 (1.4 million) and men 18-49 (835,000). It also ranked among cable's Top 5 entertainment programs in its time period.

ALL WORKED UP and LIZARD LICK TOWING come to truTV from Zodiak USA (formerly RDF USA). Natalka Znak and Lauren Gellert serve as executive producers for for Zodiak USA, while Jo Inglott is co-executive producer. For truTV, Robyn Hutt serves as executive in charge of production, and Jessica Shreeve serves as executive producer.
