CBS ANNOUNCES THE VENUE FOR WEST COAST OPEN CASTING CALL FOR THE NEW REALITY-COMPETITION SERIES, "LIVE TO DANCE" WITH PAULA ABDUL

Open Casting Call Set for Thursday, Oct. 28 at CenterStaging in Burbank, Calif.

CBS will hold a West Coast open casting call for the new reality-competition series, LIVE TO DANCE with Paula Abdul, on Thursday, Oct. 28 at CenterStaging in Burbank, Calif. (3407 Winona Ave, Burbank CA 91504). Check-in starts at 8:00 AM.

Performers who have a passion for dance and would like the opportunity to showcase their talents are encouraged to attend. The dancers who receive a callback to audition for Abdul and the panel of experts, all world-class dancers themselves, will need to be available on both Saturday (10/30) and Sunday (10/31).

For more information on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, dancers are encouraged to pre-register online at: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/paula_abdul_dance_show/

LIVE TO DANCE is one of the most inclusive talent searches on television. Dancers with raw ability of any age, performing solo or as a group, can audition in any form of dancing. Styles can include ballet to break dance, tap to tango, or a unique fusion of styles such as rock ballet, hip-hop clogging or contemporary mixed with capoeira.

The dancers who make it through the callback process will have the chance to perform live on CBS in the semi-finals and finals, where they will battle for the right to be crowned LIVE TO DANCE champion and awarded a $500,000 prize.

Abdul, who will serve as the show's executive producer, mentor and lead expert, will be joined on the panel of experts by Travis Payne and Kimberly Wyatt, both of whom bring an extensive dance and choreography resume to the series. Andrew Gnsberg is host of the series.

LIVE TO DANCE is based on a format created by Princess Productions and Shine TV and is produced by Reveille. Elisabeth Murdoch, Howard T. Owens, Paula Abdul, James Sunderland, Anthony Dominici and Robin Ashbrook are executive producers.
