(NEW YORK) - November 8, 2010 - In an NBC News exclusive primetime interview, Brian Williams travels to Northern Scotland to sit down with Prince Charles for an in-depth conversation and candid look into a private life the public rarely gets to see. In the hour-long interview, set to air on Friday, Nov. 19 (9:00 PM/ET) on "Dateline," Prince Charles speaks out about his role as The Prince of Wales; his relationship with his sons, William and Harry; the prospect of another royal wedding; feeling misunderstood by the media; and his efforts to prevent global warming and why he wants to be "the defender of nature."
David Corvo is the executive producer of "The Man Who Will Be King, A Dateline Special."
The interview will air before the network's airing of "Harmony" (10:00-11:00 PM/ET), a feature film and television special documenting The Prince of Wales efforts to combat climate change and find innovative solutions to the global environmental crisis. The interview and special air during NBC Universal's annual "Green Week," which is part of NBCU's ongoing environmental initiative, "Green is Universal."
