Recap of Tonight's Scheduling Changes: "Better With You," "Human Target" Pulled
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC and FOX have pulled tonight's telecasts of "Better With You" and "Human Target" to cover President Obama's remarks at the Tucson memorial service.

The original episodes, "Better Without a Couch" and "Imbroglio/Cool Hand Guerrero," respectively, will be rescheduled for a later date.

Repeats of "Raising Hope" and "Kitchen Nightmares" will sub in for the latter while a repeat of "The Middle" will assume the 8:30/7:30c half-hour for the former.

* [UPDATE #1: As a result of the speech's 20-minute overrun, ABC and CBS will stagger the start times of their lineups by said amount while FOX and NBC will join theirs in progress in the Eastern and Central time zones.]

** [UPDATED #2: "Cougar Town" was ultimately pulled as well in favor of a repeat of "Modern Family" to allow "Off the Map" to start at its previously advertised time.]
