Season to Include Special "Snapped: Investigates" Unveiling a Deeper Look into Past Fan Favorite Cases with Never Before Seen Footage

NEW YORK - FEBRUARY 15, 2011 � A deadly new season of "Snapped" begins featuring new episodes, as well as investigative specials that reopen old cases and take another look at the most shocking mysteries of seasons past. Premiering Sunday, February 20 at 9PM ET/PT, the new season begins when masterful manipulation leads to murder. Each chilling installment offers gritty details, interviews and a deeper look into the minds of the women who allegedly snapped.

Tausha Morton was never afraid of playing the victim, using her heartbreaking past to help her win over countless men. For Mitch Kemp, a potential suitor, Tausha seems engaging, energetic and bubbly and he falls for her quickly. Their whirlwind romance leads to marriage and children, yet the couple's life is far from picturesque. When distance drives the pair apart, Tausha turns to old habits and finds comfort with a new man, Greg Morton. But after a clash between Greg and Mitch turns violent Mitch disappears without a trace. After four years, the truth behind Mitch's disappearance begins to unravel, and Tausha is accused of being involved in her estranged husband's death, but the details remain murky. It is up to the court to decide whether the bubbly blonde is truly an innocent scapegoat or a cold-hearted conspirator.

"Snapped" features everyday average moms, wives and girlfriends who are accused of committing murder. Did they really do it? And if so, why? Was it a cheating spouse, years of constant abuse or that dirty dish in the sink? Whatever the situation, the women share a common bond--they all allegedly SNAPPED!
