Serves as Umbrella for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel

Studio City, CA - Crown Media Holdings, Inc., the corporate parent for the portfolio of cable networks and related businesses, which includes Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, positioned its television and online media offerings today under a new umbrella name, Crown Media Networks, replacing Hallmark Channels. "As our portfolio of television and online businesses expand, we saw a need to realign Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel as distinct media offerings within the Crown Media family to more accurately reflect the value each of these business units contributes to our company," said Bill Abbott, President and Chief Executive Offer, Crown Media Holdings, Inc. "The new moniker, Crown Media Networks, positions these offerings as a solid business unit to the benefit of our investors, advertisers, and business partners alike."

Crown Media Networks' two main offerings include Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, as well as their HD complements, Hallmark Channel HD and Hallmark Movie Channel HD. In addition, Crown Media Networks also includes the online offerings of HallmarkChannel.com and HallmarkMovieChannel.com. A new logo has been unveiled as part of the announcement.
